So like I used to spend a ton on uber eats. Like a lot. Maybe 3-4 times a week. I also felt a lot of shame around it. Obviously because I’m in debt. But like what it took to break the habit was to stop viewing using Uber Eats as a moral failing but as a failing of me to get suffiecent groceries. I did have to start spending more money on groceries and make investments in cooking stuff. Like instant pots and a rice cooker. But it’s paid off in the long run. I also had to spend a bunch of money on figuring out what I actually like to eat. Turns out I hate eggs but I’m pretty into ground turkey. Just sort of accepting that I need to spend more money to eventually spend less. Made a huge difference.
