I cook beans in an instant pot for maximum ease. I also like to cook them for way longer than reccomended so they turn into a delicious mush.

- 200g red lentils
- 650g water
- 100g broccoli
- 20g olive oil
- pinch of salt
Put lentils in instant pot pot. Spray with water then drain. Then add 650g water. Add olive oil, broccoli and salt. Set instant pot for 33 min. Then just wait until the ip releases all pressur all in will take around 70mins. So it helps to start before you are hungry. I like to keep the flavor neutral so I can add to each bowl as I see fit.
Things I like to add to beans:
- Balsimic vinegar
- Rice vinegar
- Chilli Garlic Sauce
- Rice umami seasoning
- Parmesean
- More olive oil on top
